Woah...Singapore is really hot+humid+fun! Been back for 4 days now. Singapore looks pretty much the same though with slight changes here and there. Well in retrospect of wats been going all the past 4 days--> DAY 1 SAT: Had a fufiling breakfast consisting of nasi lemak(much cheaper than that in Melbourne....arghh.)+fried bee hoon+tau huay jiu. Hmm, still recovering from the impact of the humidity and heat for the rest of the afternoon. Went to East Coast Park in the evening to roller blade--fantastic feeling to be blading again. Sumptuous dinner of fish head steamboat...sweating non stop though. DAY 2 SUN: good breakfast again--went to visit grandparents in the afternoon--glad to see that they're in the pink of health. had homecooked food for dinner---u only seem to appreciate homecooked food after going overseas... DAY 3 MON woke up late. took a slow stroll around the neighbourhood after the downpour. went out to bind some notes-attn!!did u knoe in singapore binding=$3 but in adelaide binding=$6!!!daylight robbery!! anyway, printing aunty(tats wat i always call her) actually recognised me!! feeling was great and chatted a bit with her about studying in australia... she was so shocked at the rates in adelaide though... late afternoon--met up with those who came back to singapore to buy books at yunnan and dinner at harbourfront. unfortunately, the books are out of stock!!help help!! dinner was like 20 course meal i think....had steamed fish, crabs, chicken and so much more. reasonable price too. somehow we ended up at Sheares Hall after dinner. ok my impression of hall was = army bunks or somewat similar style. but guess i was wrong. totally changed my impression after the visit. its totally like a hdb flat!! but i guess i'm not suited for hall life though... DAY 4 TUES nothing much done today simply drove to Parkway Parade to take a look. had lunch at hawker centre for lunch and bought some formal clothes. then went to bishan to have my favourite po piah but sadly, it wasn't open. guess i'll have to come another day then.... blogging now and waiting for another round of homecooked dinner. yeah!!! looking forward to meeting more frens over the next few days. for now...
